Nominations are now being sought for the 2009 BARLA Awards which recognize the many
varied roles and areas of the amateur game.
The Categories are:
• The Tom Keaveney Award - in honour of one of BARLA's founder members & the
Association's first Secretary - this award is for League Secretaries only.
• Silver Boot Award - this award is for Club Officials eg Chair, Treasurers, etc.
• Open Age Coach of the Year.
• Youth Coach of the Year.
• Club of the Year.
• Best Media Site of the Year.
• Unsung Hero of the Year - In recognition of those hard working Club Volunteers
who make everything happen!
Nominations should be submitted in writing in a sealed envelope marked "Awards
Nominations" and addressed to:
BARLA Headquarters

Huddersfield

There are two additional awards which will be selected by the International Committee
chaired by Jackie Reid MBE
• Open Age Player Of The Year.
• Youth Player Of The Year.
