Cumbria u19s v Lancashire u19s
At this moment in time Cumbria u19s are to play Lancashire u19s this Sunday at Maryport ARLFC , in what promises to be a great game of Rugby for all concerned , with everything to play for , for both teams involved.

Cumbria u19s 8 Lancashire u19s 34.
As the scoreline suggests this result for Lancashire was never in doubt , in regards to the team perfomance from one to seventeen every Lancashire player gave there all and were a real credit to themselves , there families , the Lancashire commitee and the coaching staff. It would be unjust to single players out as this result was purely a team effort and to be crowned as county champions was a just reward to everyone involved. On a final note i would to say a big thank you to Roy Sharples and his comittee for all the hard work they put in and today was a just reward for all the efforts and hard work that they put in behind the scenes over the years , thank you to one and all.

I suppose Lancashire would'nt want a re-match with Yorkshire on a proper pitch would they?
In Yorkshire of course.
In Yorkshire of course.

Re: Cumbria u19s v Lancashire u19s
Quite right the game against yorkshire should have been played on the main pitch, not the 3g.
A big pitch would have allowed the backs more space and their would have been more open rugby.
Since yorkshire only narrowly beat cumbria at home and lancs bt cumbria comfortably away,I think lancashire fully deserved their trophy.
rematch next year in yorkshire, the bigger the pitch the better.

As for Lancashire u19s to play Yorkshire u19s in Yorkshire, i am sure the players and coaching staff of Lancashire would relish the opportunity to play you again , as they did last year when they travelled to York and won. As for playing on a bigger pitch that would suit Lancashire down to the ground , they played on a bigger pitch on Sunday in Cumbria and look what happened there.
