Cheers Steve, I honestly think that these inter-league games are a great idea and a big thank you should go out to Jackie Clowes & Charlie Bray for getting round the table and sorting it out for all the players & spectators involved.

We intend it to be an annual event hosted alternative years by Yorkshire Juniors & ourselves at the NW Counties 13-15's and, as with any similar events, hope it becomes a calendar favourite every season!!!

Fingers crossed the weather will be as good as it has been this side of the Pennines today and everyone has an enjoyable & fun day out!

Open invitation to everyone out there ... c'mon down, you'll all be made to feel very welcome!!

So it was honours even today over at Shaw Cross with one win and one defeat but what a great day was had by all.

Two greatly contested games providing superb entertainment for the watching appreciative good crowd, perfect weather & pitch conditions, trophies & plaques for the players & coaches and wonderful hospitality from everyone at the Yorkshire Juniors.

A big thank you on behalf of everyone from NW Counties 13-15's on a superbly staged day ... the benchmark has been set for future challenges and its a great standard that we'll now have to try to match.

Special mention to Charlie Bray, Colin Handforth, Jackie Clowes & Jayne/Lindsay Bissett for all their hard work in making the day happen and to all the players, officials & spectators for making it such a great atmosphere.
